The HCG Diet - Steak Day

To be used IMMEDIATELY after a gain of two pounds on Phase 3

The HCG Diet "Steak Day" is used during HCG Phase 3 when your morning weight exceeds the weight you had on the last day of HCG by more than two pounds.

The HCG Steak Day requires that you abstain from all food during the day and eat one large steak as your evening meal. The steak should be cooked in oil or butter and should be eaten with one apple or a raw tomato.

The steak eaten should be a large serving of beef, usually 24 - 32 ounces. It may be any cut of meat your prefer including a Porterhouse, T-bone, Rib-eye, New York Strip, Filet Mignon, Kobe Beef or Sirloin Steak.

It is VERY important that the Steak Day diet is followed as soon as the two pound limit is breached, as this allows the hypothalamus to be corrected and function properly again.


HCG Steak Day

The HCG Steak Day works because it naturally corrects the metabolism for a condition of excess calories on the previous day. This decrease in caloires evens out the metabolism by working through the hypothalmus, allowing the body to further stabilize itself in Phase 3.

If the Steak Day is not done immediately after the 2+ pound weight gain, this natural correction does not occur. In cases where this happens, it is not productive to try a Steak Day the second day or to try two Steak Days in a row.

The proper procedure to follow when a needed Steak Day is missed, should be to simply use the new weight (2 or more pounds higher than the last HCG day) and use this as your new maintenance weight. The remaining days of Phase 3 will need to be carefully monitored to ensure that no further weight is gained and that the new maintenance wieght is held.

HCG Diet Double Philly Steak Day

To be used IMMEDIATELY after a loss of two pounds or more on Phase 3

The HCG Diet "Double Philly Steak Day" is used during HCG Phase 3 when your morning weight is less than the weight you had on the last day of HCG by more than two pounds.

The Double Philly Steak Day requires that you eat a HCG Phase 3 breakfast and then consume a Philly Steak sandwich with double meat for lunch and dinner.

The Philly Steak should eaten should contain a large serving of beef and cheese. Traditionally, cheesesteak sandwiches are made from thinly sliced rib-eye or top round, but you may use any cut of meat your prefer including a Porterhouse, T-bone, Rib-eye, New York Strip, Filet Mignon, Kobe Beef or Sirloin Steak.

White American cheese and Provolone cheese are traditional favorites as well, but you may use any cheese that is not highly processed.


Double Philly Steak Day

The HCG Double Philly Steak Day works because it naturally corrects the metabolism for a condition of too few calories on the previous day. This increase in caloires evens out the metabolism by working through the hypothalmus, allowing the body to further stabilize itself in Phase 3.

If the Double Philly Steak Day is not done immediately after a 2+ pound weight loss, this natural correction does not occur. In cases where this happens, it is not productive to try a Double Philly Steak Day the second day or to try two Double Philly Steak Days in a row.

The proper procedure to follow when a needed Double Philly Steak Day is missed, should be to simply use the new weight (2 or more pounds lower than the last HCG day) and use this as your new maintenance weight.
