HCG Phase 2 Recipes: Sauces, Gravies & Condiments

We've got great recipes for sauces, gravies and even condiments for Phase 2 of the HCG Diet. Many of these recipes are so good you'll want to use them every day diet or no diet!.

hCG for Weight Loss

Tina's Spicy Cocktail Sauce

3 – 6 oz cans tomato paste
¼ t Stevia
1 ½ C water
3/4 C white vinegar
½ t onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
4 T horseradish (use less for milder sauce)
2 splashes of Tobasco red pepper sauce
red pepper to taste
1 dash salt

Mix together ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.  Set aside in container with lid to cool.  Refrigerate for up to 4 months.

Classic Yellow Mustard

4 T dry ground mustard powder
¼ C water
3 T white distilled vinegar
½ t Grissini “flour” made by grinding in food processor
1/8 t turmeric
1/8 t garlic powder
⅛ t paprika

Combine ingredients over medium heat and whisk until smooth. When mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes, stir often. Remove pan from heat. Leave uncovered for 2 minutes, then cover pan with a lid until cool. Chill and store in a covered container. Makes about 1/4 cup.

Spicy Classic Yellow Mustard

½ cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons malt vinegar
¼ cup dry ground mustard powder
½ teaspoon turmeric
¼ teaspoon paprika
¾ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Dash of black pepper
5 packets of Splenda
1 T Horseradish

Combine ingredients and blend over low heat for 10 minutes until bubbly.
If mustard gets too thick, add water; if too thin add more mustard powder.
Pour mustard into a squeeze bottle and refrigerate.

Simple Easy Ketchup (Catsup)

3 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
¼ C Splenda
1 C white vinegar
½ t onion powder
¼ t garlic powder
⅛ t salt

Mix all ingredients together and simmer for about 10 minutes. Let cool and then store in covered container in refrigerator.

Good As Heinz Ketchup (Catsup)

1 cup white vinegar
3 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
¼ C pourable Splenda
½ t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder
¼ t fresh ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ t ground cayenne pepper
½ t ground ginger
¼ t ground cloves
⅛ t salt

Combine ingredients and blend over low heat for 10 minutes or until Ketchup reaches desired consistency. .Combine all ingredients and simmer about 15 to 20 minutes or until it reaches the desired consistency. Pour ketchup into a squeeze bottle and refrigerate.
